December 7, 2011 - Frederick, Md. - The Hood College swim team prevailed over Notre Dame of Maryland University, 164-92 Wednesday evening.

Jessi Duffy, Faith Jones, Kristine Chen, and Shannon Berry took first in the 200 medley relay, with a time of 2:08.30. The Gators earned first and second place finishes in the the 200 butterfly, with junior Berry (Pasadena/Baltimore Catholic) touching in first (2:38.11) while Chen (Indian Head/Henry E. Lackey) camein at 2:46.11. Jones (Glen Arm/Greater Grace Christian Academy) picked up the Gators' other first place finish in the 100 butterfly (1:09.38)

Notre Dame of Maryland University closes out 2011 with a 3-2 record and returns home to host Bridgewater College on Saturday, January 21 at 1:00 p.m. in LeClerc Pool.
