Baltimore, MD – College of Notre Dame of Maryland basketball upset by Rosemont College 68-47 in Colonial States Athletic Conference action on Monday evening.

The Gators entered the contest looking to improve upon their previous meeting with the Ravens, an 86-68 loss a week before. Rosemont took an early 4-0 lead, but two made foul shots by Kelcy Bye (Parkton, MD/Hereford) and a lay-up by India Scott (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Polytechnic) tied the game at 4-4 with 17:53 on the clock.

Baskets from Scott, Bye, Cory Santos (Carlsbad, CA/Carlsbad) and Lauren McCusker (Sparrows Point, MD/Sparrows Point) kept the Gators within six points of the Raven over the next twelve minutes. Notre Dame cut the deficit to two points with 1:52 remaining in the half with three-pointers from Bye and Scott. The teams traded several baskets in the final minute of play before Rosemont took a four point lead into halftime, 32-28.

The Ravens converted three shots from beyond the arc at the start of the second half to build a significant point margin over the Gators.
