Baltimore, Md. -
The Notre Dame of Maryland University basketball team fell 66-46 to visiting Immaculata University Wednesday evening to conclude the 2011-2012 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) regular season. The Gators end the year with a 0-16 conference mark, while the Mighty Macs improve to 12-4 in the CSAC and await their playoff seed based on the outcome of tonight's remaining CSAC matchups.

The Gators trailed 29-22 at the half, which was a better showing than IU's 93-34 victory December 7 at Immaculata. Both Imani Stokes and India Scott recorded double-doubles, with Stokes (Fr., Baltimore/Polytechnic Institute) scoring 13 points and grabbing a game-high 16 boards and Scott (Gr., Baltimore/Polytechnic Institute) scoring a team-high 15 points and pulling down 12 rebounds.  Stokes also had a team-high 5 assists.

The Mighty Macs were paced by 22 points from Kelly Brown, who recorded her 1000th career point with just three minutes left to play. Leah Kuczynski added 12 points and had a team-high 13 rebounds.

Notre Dame wraps up the 2011-12 season on Saturday, February 18 when they host Valley Forge Christian College in non-conference action. The game will be the final for Scott, a graduate student, and senior Dee Waters (Aberdeen). Waters will be recognized by her teammates prior to the start of the game.
