Meet Results

Baltimore, Md. -- The Gators of Notre Dame of Maryland University hosted the Gophers of Goucher College in its second home meet of the season.

The Gators were led by sophomore Emily Jordan (Bel Air, Md./ C. Milton Wright) with three first place victories. She placed first in the 1000 yard freestyle (11:41.44), the 100 yard butterfly (1:06.94), and the 100 yard breaststroke (1:13.94). Her time in the 1000 freestyle is a team best for the 2013-14 season so far.

Also leading the Gators was junior Jessi Duffy (Bel Air, Md./ C. Milton Wright) with two first place finishes in the 100 yard backstroke (1:04.38) and the 500 yard freestyle (5:41.69). Her times in both the 100 backstroke and 500 freestyle are 2013-2014 season bests. Other Notre Dame first place finishes include junior Tawny Cevora (Norfolk, Va./ Lake Taylor) in the 160 yard individual medley (2:18.31), and the 160 yard freestyle team relay (1:31.25).

Though the Gators placed first in 7of the 14 events, the Gophers claimed more points in the overall meet, resulting in a final score of 73-48.

Notre Dame does not enter the pool again until December 6th when the team travels to Randolph Macon College for the Yellow Jacket Invitational.
