Langhorne, Pa -- The Notre Dame of Maryland University basketball team travelled to Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Cairn University.

The Gators were led by freshman Naimani Staley (Silver Spring, Md./Montgomery Blair)  with 15 points. Junior Shaun De' Jones (Baltimore, Md./Polytechnic Institute) grabbed 12 rebounds for Notre Dame. A slow start in the first half of the game made a second half recovery too much to overcome for the Gators, allowing the Highlanders to claim the win with a score of 38-30.

Notre Dame is back on the court on Saturday, January 25th at 1 p.m. when they travel to CSAC rival Cedar Crest College.
