Box Score Scranton, Pa. -- The Notre Dame of Maryland basketball team traveled to Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Marywood for their first of two match ups of the season.  The Pacers strong defensive and offensive threats were too much for the Gators to overcome as they fell, 71-33.

The Gators had three players post eight points each led by freshman Zaria Comer (Leesburg, Va. /Tuscarora) adding a team high, seven rebounds with two steals.  Freshmen Allyson Whitacre (Jarrettsville, Md. /North Harford) and Stephanie Roche (Baltimore, Md. / Perry Hall) also tallied eight points each with Whitacre shooting 2-2 from the free throw line and Roche recording two three pointers.

Notre Dame next travels to CSAC rival Neumann Wednesday, January 28.
