Meet ResultsBaltimore, Md. -- The Notre Dame of Maryland University swimming team hosted crosstown rival Goucher College Wednesday night.
Junior
Emily Jordan (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) paced the Gators with three first place finishes. Jordan clocked the first place time of 2:29.72 in the 200 yard butterfly and 2:36.84 in the 200 yard breaststroke. She also captured the 160 yard individual medley with a time of 1:51.28.
Junior
Margaret Pedersen (Brick, N.J) also posted the best time in the 40 yard freestyle,touching the wall in 23.53.
Goucher's Alexis Regopoulos set a new LeClerc Pool record in the 1000 yard freestyle, posting a time of 10:55.94, besting the record of 11:00.94 set in 2004 by S. Danner from Gallaudet University.
In the meet, the Gophers defeated Notre Dame 83-37. The Gators will return to action on December 4 as they head to the Yellow Jacket Invitational in Richmond, Va.
