Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Baltimore, Md.  --  Notre Dame of Maryland University fell to Neumann University in the softball team's Colonial States Athletic Conference season opener.  

Senior Brea Kehr (Dundalk, Md./Bridgewater College), sophomore Morgan Ward (Randallstown, Md./Western Tech) and freshman Jennifer Whiting (Perry Hall, Md.) led the Gators offense.  

The Knights captured the first game 9-0 then defeated Notre Dame 21-0 in the nightcap.  

The squad will now return to action on Friday as they travel to CSAC rival Gwynedd Mercy University.  On Saturday, the team will host Centenary College at Druid Hill Park.
