Box Score Gwynedd Valley. Pa. -- The Notre Dame of Maryland University basketball team traveled to Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Gwynedd Mercy Wednesday evening.  The Gators would keep the game close through the first half, but the Griffins would pull away as Notre Dame would fall, 69-45.

Notre Dame would have three Gators post nine points in the game led by sophomore Zaria Comer (Leesburg, Va. / Tuscarora), would also reeled in a team game high, 10 rebounds and two blocks.  Freshman Justice Walrath (Severna Park, Md.) recorded nine points and nine rebounds, going 6-for-6 from the line and three assists while sophomore Stephanie Roche (Baltimore, Md. / Perry Hall) added nine points in the effort with one three-pointer and two steals.  Freshman Justine Mudiay (Baltimore, Md. / Cristo Rey Jesuit) tallied eight rebounds for the Gators and finishing the night with five points.  Notre Dame shot 67% from the free throw line while recording 48 rebounds, the 8th game this season the Gators have recorded 40 or more rebounds in a game.

Notre Dame next returns home as they host CSAC opponent Centenary College, Saturday on Alumnae Day.  Game time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
