MEET RESULTSRoanoke, Va. -- The Notre Dame of Maryland University swim team traveled to Hollins University to swim in a dual meet against both Hollins and Guilford College. In the meet, Notre Dame had two first place and three second place finishes. Notre Dame recorded their fourth victory this season over Guilford, 104-53 but fell to Hollins 60-119.
Senior
Emily Jordan (Bel Air, Md. / C. Milton Wright) led the Gators with two first place and one second place finish. Jordan notched first place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:11.38 and the 200-yard backstroke in 2:35.25. In the 200 breaststroke, Jordan came in second in 2:40.09.
Junior
Margaret Pedersen (Brick, N.J.) recorded two second place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:07.69 and the 500-yard freestyle in 6:46.53.
The Gators will host their final home swim meet tomorrow against Bridgewater College. Meet time is noon.
