Box Score Bryn Athyn, Pa. -- The Notre Dame of Maryland basketball team traveled to non-conference opponent Bryn Athyn College for their last game of 2016.  The Gators would outscore the Lions in the second half, but a 25 point first half deficit would keep the game out of reach as Notre Dame fell, 76-56.

The Gators were led in scoring by junior Dania Taylor who recorded a career-high 18 points.  She also tallied team-highs in rebounds and assists, with seven and five respectively.  Sophomore Justine Mudiay posted 16 points, her second highest performance this season.  Mudiay went 4-for-6 from the free-throw line and also downed two three-pointers.  Junior Zaria Comer also registered double-figures in scoring, posting 11 points, going 3-for-4 from the free-throw line.  Comer tied a team game-high, seven rebounds while also posting two blocks.  The Gators posted 20 steals in the game, their highest single-game performance this season.

Notre Dame will see time off from play over the holiday break and will return to the court January 3, 2017 on the road at Neumann.
