Box Score Gwynedd Valley, Pa. – The Notre Dame of Maryland University basketball team traveled to Gwynedd Mercy University for their first road Colonial States Athletic Conference game and last conference game of 2016. Notre Dame would fall to Gwynedd Mercy, 80-49.
Notre Dame had two players record double-figure in scoring led by junior
Zaria Comer with 13, her sixth consecutive game recording 10 or more points. Junior
Dania Taylor finished the game with 12 points, going 4-for-4 from the free throw line. She also led the team in steals and assists with three apiece. Sophomore
Justice Walrath went 2-for-3 from beyond the arc, finishing the game with eight points and three assists. On the defensive end, junior
Ashley Guy tallied five defensive rebounds while Comer posted her 13
th block this season.
Notre Dame will see a break from conference action as they have two more non-conference match ups to close out December. Next Tuesday, the Gators will travel to Christendom College. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
