Soccer to Host Gallaudet in Season Opener

BALTIMORE, Md. – After finishing 9-6-2 in 2015, first year head soccer coach Brad Hartin will look to add to his team's success today, as the Gators welcome Gallaudet University at 4:30 p.m.

NDMU scored a 3-0 win over the Bison when the two teams last met, in 2015. A pair of goals from sophomore Meghan Conner in the first half provided a comfortable two goal lead heading into halftime, while junior Elizabeth Balog's 62nd minute insurance goal in the second half helped the club secure its third straight victory to start the year. NDMU went on to win its next three games, before falling to Keystone in an overtime thriller.

The Gators return nine players from last year's team, including Conner and sophomore Lindsey Rehak, who were the team's top two scorers this past year. Conner finished with a team high 40 points on 18 goals and four assists, while Rehak tallied 16 points on four goals and eight helpers.
