Box Score RADNOR, Pa. – Notre Dame basketball continued their conference schedule Thursday night, traveling to Cabrini University. The Gators got off to a slow start in the first quarter only scoring five points in the opening frame. The Cavaliers, currently undefeated in the Colonial States Athletic Conference, eventually defeated the Gators, 81-35.
Junior
Justine Mudiay led the team in scoring, posting 14 points, for her seventh consecutive game scoring 10 or more points. She went 6-for-13 from the floor and also led the team in rebounds and blocks with seven and two, respectively.
Freshman
Keyeria Dawson also had double figures in the game posting 10 points. She went 6-for-7 from the free-throw line and reeled in six rebounds. Senior
Ashley Guy added six rebounds in the game, while the team finished with 36.
Notre Dame has now faced all of their southern division opponents once. They will see Neumann University, Cabrini University, Immaculata University, Rosemont College, and Cairn University one more time this season. The Gators will next travel to Gwynedd Mercy University on Saturday before heading home for a three-game home stand.
