Gators Suffer Road Loss

Box Score ASTON, Pa. -- Notre Dame basketball traveled to Neumann University today for their first of two road Colonial States Athletic Conference games.  The Gators held strong against the Knights through the first half, but costly turnovers helped Neumann pull away as Notre Dame fell, 87-45.

Senior Dania Taylor, junior Justine Mudiay and freshman Adrianna Fletcher each finished the game with eight points each.  Mudiay tied a season-high with eight rebounds, while Fletcher finished 4-for-9 from the floor.

Senior Zaria Comer led the team on the boards, posting 10 rebounds and had her fourth  game this season recording four or more blocks.  Comer now has 40 blocks in her senior season and is leading the CSAC in block total and blocks per game.  This is her third 40+ block season.  She broke the Notre Dame single season block record last season, finishing with 50.

The Gators will stay on the road for one more game before returning home for their last two home games of the season.  On Wednesday, Notre Dame will face Cairn University for the second time this season.
