ROSEMONT, Pa. – For the first time this basketball season, the Notre Dame basketball team scored a Colonial States Athletic Conference Weekly Honor.
For the first time in her career, senior
Justine Mudiay was named the CSAC Player of the Week. This is not only her first Player of the Week recognition, but it is her first official CSAC honor in her career.
Mudiay had a standout performance for the Gators last week, helping lead the team to their first win of the season on Sunday over York College of New York. During the week, Mudiay averaged 10.7 points per game, finishing the week with 32. She also had 10 rebounds, eight assists and went 6-for-6 from the free throw line.
Over the weekend, during the
Pride. Spirit. Honor. Tournament hosted by Penn State Harrisburg, Mudiay posted back-to-back double figure scoring efforts. On Sunday, in the Gators' 59-48 victory over York (N.Y.) she posted a season-high 17 points, backed by three-pointers.
The Gators open their CSAC schedule this week as they first travel to Rosemont College
