Box Score 2 ASTON, Pa. – Notre Dame of Maryland University softball traveled to Neumann University for their final Colonial States Athletic Conference doubleheader of the 2018 season. At the defending CSAC Champions, the Gators registered three hits, but couldn't get on the board, falling 15-0 and 13-0.
Junior
Samantha Kastner led the team at the plate recording two hits against the Knights. In game one, Kastner posted a single with two outs in the first and in game two she recorded her sixth double of the season to left field.
Freshman
Samantha Miguez Tolliver also had a hit for Notre Dame, her fourth of the season. Her hit came in game two against Neumann, recording a base hit up the middle in the third inning.
In the field, sophomore
Naudiya Hopkins led the team in putouts with eight in center field.
The Gators finish the 2018 season, 2-26 overall and 1-21 in conference play. Notre Dame graduates only one from this season's team, pitcher
