ROSEMONT, Pa. – Notre Dame had two more student-athletes earn Colonial States Athletic Conference weekly honors this week.
Yesterday, it was announced that senior Sammy Kastner and sophomore Jodie Bronushas from NDMU softball were named to the CSAC Honor Roll.
In both their first career honors, freshman
Briana Gibson and
Isabella Dallasta were also named to the CSAC Honor Roll for track and tennis respectively.
Gibson has been making strides in her first two meets for the NDMU track team. In her first career meet the Mary Washington Opener, she raced in the 4x100m, 400m hurdles, and 4x400m. She placed eighth in the 400m hurdles and her teams in the 4x100m and 4x400m finished seventh and second respectively. This past weekend at the Goucher College Track and Field Classic she broke her 400m hurdles time by two seconds, finishing in third place.
The NDMU track team will race this weekend at Susquehanna University at the Jim Taylor Invitational.
Dallasta also earned CSAC Weekly Honor Roll recognition after earning her first career win in first singles against McDaniel College. She won the Gators' lone victory of the match, 6-3, 6-0.
The NDMU tennis team opens their CSAC schedule this weekend, traveling to Cairn on Friday and then hosting Cedar Crest College on Saturday.
