ROSEMONT, Pa. – After a week full of tough conference games, the Notre Dame basketball team brings home two Colonial States Athletic Conference Weekly Honors.
Freshman
Ayana Brim and sophomore
Daija Fitchett were both named to the CSAC Weekly Honor Roll after finishing the week with two strong conference wins.
Brim received her second career recognition finishing the week with 41 points in three consecutive games. She averaged 13.6 points and 8.6 rebounds. Against Rosemont, she earned a career high of 20 points and went 10-for-12 from the floor. This past week she had 26 total rebounds with 16 of them being against Rosemont. She was one rebound shy of completing two double- doubles. Her double-double was against St. Elizabeth with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
For the fourth time this season, Fitchett was also among the CSAC Honor Roll this week. She averaged 12.6 rebounds per game in the past three contests. Fitchett currently leads the CSAC in rebounds averaging 11.4. Against Rosemont, she recorded a career high of four steals tallying eight total for the week. She posted two double-doubles in the defeat against Rosemont and Bryn Athyn. Additionally, she added six blocks total for the week.
