Senior Interview

Why did you choose to become a Gator?

I chose to attend NDMU because it afforded me the opportunity to advance my post-secondary education in a community that challenges one to strive for intellectual and professional excellence.

What is your favorite memory at NDMU?

My favorite memory at Notre Dame was hosting a jousting event on campus to fundraise for the track and field club.

What is your favorite memory with your team?

My favorite memory with the cross country team is the chant we would recite before every race - "Chomp, chomp, gators came to stop, stop (x2) Goooo Gators!"

What is one lesson or take away you will have from being a student-athlete at Notre Dame?

My biggest take away from being a student-athlete at Notre Dame has been commitment. When committing to a sport, you owe it to your university, team, coaches, and yourself to be determined to be the best at anything and everything you do.

Describe the community here at NDMU.

NDMU shapes and cultivates women to be leaders, and since attending NMDU, I have learned to be a fearless leader. Part of being a fearless leader is focusing on growth, forward momentum, and action while also embracing failure and learning from it.
