Schedule Update: Gators See Two Matches Canceled Due to COVID-19

BALTIMORE – The Notre Dame of Maryland basketball game scheduled for December 30th at 7:00 PM against Goucher College and its road contest that was to be held on January 4th at 1:00 PM against Eastern Mennonite University was postponed in midst of the rise in COVID-19 cases. A date has not yet been set as Notre Dame (Md.) Athletics works towards providing a safe environment for our student-athletes to compete during the pandemic.

OF NOTE

The Gators are fifth in the Colonial States Athletic Conference standings with a 3-2 record against conference opponents.
Notre Dame has three scorers averaging double-figures on the season in Ayana Brim (12.9), Daija Fitchett (12.4), and Alexis Durham (10.2)
Fitchett is the league's top rebounder (13.1) and leader in blocks with 1.7 per game. She's made four appearances on the CSAC weekly awards list, making for the most amongst all Gators.
Alexis Durham leads the Gators in assists (4.6) and steals (2.1). She ranks fifth amongst CSAC leaders.
Freshman Amya Durham has found her stroke as of late and was named to the conference Weekly Honor Roll back-to-back weeks (Dec. 6) and (Dec. 13). Durham is second on the team with 3.9 assists per game and 2.0 steals per contest.
