BALTIMORE, MD –
Alexis Durham and
Daija Fitchett were named to the CSAC Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the league office on Monday. The Gators completed the week 1-1, highlighted by a significant 82-74 win in knocking off previously unbeaten Clarks Summit. Led by Durham and co, Notre Dame posted 82 points against the league's best scoring defense to hang on to the fourth seed with four games left in the season.
Durham led all scorers, scoring her third 25-plus points scoring performance in NDMU's win at Clarks Summit. She is averaging 21.5 points, 7.0 assists and 7.1 rebounds per game in the last seven contests. Durham is 10th on the program single-season assist list with 96 and is just one rebound shy of a 100 on the season. The rookie is averaging 14.4 points, 5.3 assists and 5.5 rebounds on the year.
Fitchett added her 12th double-double of the season and averaged 12.0 points, 16.5 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks during the week. She surpassed the 100 blocks career milestone after compiling seven rejections over the week (106) and is now only the second Gator with 100-plus career blocks. Fitchett leads the league in rebounds (14.6) and blocks (2.3).
