Langhorn, PA- The Notre Dame of Maryland cross country team took part in the United East Preview Meet hosted by Cairn University on Saturday, Sept. 16. The meet took place on the same course the conference championship meet will take place on later this fall. 
 
NDMU's top runner was Holly Hand who completed the 6,000-meter course in time of 47:59.3. Hand posted an average mile time of 12:52.2. Francisca Biann crossed the finish line just behind Hand finishing in a time of 48:55.6. NDMU's next finisher was Laci Petruccy, who continued to show improvement finishing in a time of 58:55.8. The Gators final finisher was Jemima Olanrewaju who completed the course in a time of 1:00:32.8. 
 
The Gators will continue training before traveling to take part in the Coach Caslin Classic hosted by Goucher College on Friday, Oct. 6. The race is schedule to begin at 5:00 PM.
