Watts Continues To Shine Earning Fifth POTW Honor

LATHAM, N.Y. – The United East released its weekly awards on Monday, Jan. 15 and for the fifth time this season, women's basketball's Amani Watts collected Player of the Week honors, this time as the Offensive POTW.   
 
Watts had a career week in wins over Rosmeont College and Keystone College. In the win over the Ravens, Watts recorded another double-double, finishing the game with 17 points and 12 rebounds. She then set a new career-high for points in the win over Keystone, racking up 28 points including going 14-19 at the free throw line. She also recorded her 11th double-double of the season by pulling in 11 rebounds. For the season, Watts is averaging 19.3 points per game (4th in the United East) and 11.8 rebounds per game (3rd in the United East). 
   
The women's basketball team will travel to face Bryn Athyn College on Wednesday, Jan. 17. The tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM
