Generoso named United East Women's Lacrosse Scholar Athlete

Baltimore, Md.-  Sarah Generoso was named as the United East Women's Lacrosse Senior Scholar Athlete on June 5. A true standout both on and off the field, she was recognized because she represents the student-athlete model by performing in competition, in the classroom and around the community. Over her four years as a Gator, Generoso established herself as a leader in the conference and an indispensable member of the women's lacrosse team.

A draw control specialist, Generoso reached a historic milestone in the final game of her career, becoming only the second player in Notre Dame history to achieve 200 draw control wins. Across her illustrious career, she tallied an impressive 79 points, including 61 goals and 18 assists, while collecting 118 ground balls. Her consistent excellence earned her All-Conference recognition all four years, highlighted by back-to-back First Team honors in 2023 and 2024.

Generoso's impact extended far beyond the field. A nursing major, she embodied the true spirit of a student-athlete, graduating with a remarkable 3.89 GPA. Her dedication to her studies earned her the prestigious "Pride in Practice Award" from the Nursing School in both 2023 and 2024, along with regular Dean's List and Scholar Athlete distinctions. In addition to her athletic and academic achievements, Generoso gave back to the community through her work with the Knott Scholarship Foundation. Her involvement included annual book drives, networking events, and Service Days, reflecting her commitment to making a difference beyond campus.
