Soccer Falls In Crosstown Action

Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. -- The Notre Dame Gators took on crosstown foe Goucher College on a windy Tuesday afternoon at home.

After a tame first 25 minutes, Goucher scored to break up the deadlock. Notre Dame had three scoring chances including two long shots from Meghan Conner and Madison Stoner forcing three Gopher saves in the first half.

The second half started the same with pressure from the Gophers and solid defense from the Gators. Notre Dame goalkeeper Loren Pardoe made some great saves but Goucher found the back of the net and then once again late in the game for their third goal. Notre Dame added more than double their shots including a free kick strike from Alla Stepanov.

The Gators will finish their season on Thursday at home at Neumann University at 4 p.m.
