Volleyball Pushes Past Lions

Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. – The Notre Dame volleyball team secured their fifth win of the season, as they defeated Lincoln University, 3-0. 

The Gators were led at the net by freshman Sarah Sweet who posted nine kills, hitting .471.  Sweet also led the team in digs, with six while sophomore Mary Marquez added four.  Senior Grace Park added to her 15 aces this season, posting a team high, six.  Senior Jamie Reyes tallied 21 assists while also recording four aces and three digs.  Freshman Michaila Sheedy hit for .750, with three kills on four attacks.  Seven Gators posted two or more kills in the Notre Dame win. 

The Gators move to 5-2 overall this season and will now travel to Washington Adventist University tomorrow.  The Shock are 0-1 overall this season.  Last season, Notre Dame defeated WAU in straight sets.
