Greensboro, N.C. – The Notre Dame of Maryland Baseball Team was recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) with the Academic Excellence Award, the organization announced this morning.

To qualify, a baseball program must post a minimum cumulative team GPA of 3.0 for the 2025-26 academic year; the Gators finished the year with a 3.18 team GPA.

The Gators were only one of three United East schools to earn recognition along with Penn State Brandywine and Valley Forge.

On the diamond, the Gators are coming off a season where they qualified for the United East Tournament for the first time in program history.
