Pike ’was a member of three varsity teams during her career at Notre Dame. She came to Notre Dame to play basketball and played for three seasons.

Pike decided to go out for lacrosse in her sophomore year, a sport she had never played. She was recruited to play for the field hockey team in her junior year—another sport she had never played. Her work ethic and team spirit did not go unrecognized, as she captained both the field hockey and lacrosse teams and wont the Coaches’ Award in both sports.

She was twice named Most Valuable Player of the lacrosse team, and in 1993 became the first Notre Dame student-athlete in any sport to achieve All-American honors by being named South Region All-American. She was selected to participate in the North/South Division III Senior All-Star game in lacrosse. She was Notre Dame’s Outstanding Senior Athlete in 1995.

An art major, and pursuing a career in graphic design and marketing, as well as coaching a high school lacrosse program she started, Pike lives in New Hampshire.
