Angela Ruocco was inducted into the Notre Dame Hall of Fame in 2007. ,
As member of the lacrosse team, Ruocco let Notre Dame as one of the most successful players in program history, leaving the school with multiple school records. Upon graduation, she held the school record for career goals, career points, career groundballs and career draw controls. ,She also posted the best season tallies in goals, points and caused turnovers. ,
A two-time captain, Ruocco earned the team's Most Valuable Player award three times and was named to the Atlantic Women's College Conference All-AWCC Team on three occasions, being named the leagues Most Outstanding Player in 2001. ,
Her accolades continued with being named an IWLCA Regional All-American three teams, including two first team bids. ,She also was named to the IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll on two occasions,
Her efforts on the lacrosse field and in the classroom allowed for her to receive the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Award, which she used to continue her education, earning a J.D. from University of Maryland and an M.A. in Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University. ,She would go on to earn her PhD in History at the University of Maryland. ,,
Currently, Ruocco serves as an Assistant Attorney General. ,,
