* Won Alumnae Sophomore Scholorship Award as a sophomore (from Columns…”Founded by the class of 1896, the scholarship was first awarded in 1902. Since that time it has been granted each year to the highest ranking member of the freshman class. It entitles the winner to tuition and board for the sophomore year. At the beginning of each new school year the scholarship is explained to the freshmen and from that time on the class is in competition. Cecilia Koehler is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence F. Koehler of 1527 E. 33rd St. In her first year at Notre Dame, she won te Hoisinger-Kreuzer trophy for outstanding work in the field of athletics and was elected vice president of the Athletic Association. She was also very active in Ye Merrie Masquers and in the Biology Journal Club. Cecelia is a graduate of Mount Sant Agnes High School in Baltimore.)
