Kelly Love '99 was inducted into the 20th Hall of Fame class in 2010.

Love swam for four years at College of Notre Dame under current head coach Curt Jordan. Love, who graduated with high academic honors, earned Notre Dame’s Most Outstanding Senior Student-Athlete award in 1999 and Notre Dame’s Most Outstanding Underclass Student-Athlete award in 1998.

She is the only Notre Dame swimming student-athlete to have ever won an individual event at the Atlantic States Championship, taking home first in the 200-yard breaststroke in her senior year. “That still is the only first place finish in that meet for Notre Dame and we have participated in that meet for 20 years,” said Jordan.

Love set school and pool records during her time in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke. She was also a member of the program’s 160, 200 & 400-yard medley relays, which were set in 1997 and all still stand today.

A key contributor to four Atlantic Women's College Conference (AWCC) Championships during her time at Notre Dame, and according to coach Jordan, Love “put the team first over personal opportunities that came her way while at Notre Dame.”

Love currently resides in Wilmington, North Carolina.
